Board of Directors

We have four executive and four non-executive directors on our board. Our four executive directors run things day-to-day, they form the senior level of the leadership team here at Purple. They each have their own area of the business to look after.

GAVIN WHEELDON
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO)

Gavin sold his last business, Applied Language Solutions, a global language technology and services business. He set up So Purple Group with the prime focus on building an enterprise guest WiFi system that was end user friendly.

PETE LEE
CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER (CFO)

Pete is a qualified finance professional with in excess of 20 years. He has been responsible for leading various teams across finance, IT, administration, HR and professional services in a number of early stage software companies.

SIR TERRY LEAHY

Previously the CEO of Tesco, Sir Terry Leahy was selected as Britain’s most admired business leader by Management Today.

In 2007, a Guardian Unlimited Politics panel found him to be the most influential non-elected person in Britain.

TIM MASON

Tim Mason is a director and advisor to several businesses including Eagle Eye Solutions, Digital Natives Content, Purple and an advisor to The Foundation and TCC. He is Chairman and CEO of an adult soft drink start-up called Soft Brew Licensing Ltd.

JOHN OLIVER
CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER (CPO)

John has over 15 years experience leading the direction & development of web based software solutions.

John’s core skills are focused towards the development of online based product solutions, UX and UI design.

ERIC LAW
CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER (CRO)

Eric Law has 18 years sales experience in a series of senior positions with Cisco Systems, he has led high performing teams across multiple countries and technologies. He has global responsibility for growing the Purple sales organisation.

BOB WILLETT

Previously the CEO of International, EVP Operations and CIO. Bob is a leader with significant international operating experience in the retail multichannel and technology industries. His experience ranges from M&S to BestBuy.

RORY CODD

Rory’s career has been in investment banking.

He has worked at Investec Bank, Numis Securities, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and now Zeus Capital. Rory is currently a Director of Corporate Finance.
